Effective October 13, 2026. HailPort is operated by Crimson Digital Services LLC (doing business as HailPort), Middle River, Maryland. By texting, calling, or submitting a form to a business that uses HailPort, you agree to these terms.

What this service is

HailPort is a lead-response and booking-REQUEST tool used by independent marine service businesses. It answers questions, collects the details of what you need, and submits a booking request to the business on your behalf.

Bookings are requests, not confirmations

Nothing HailPort tells you is a booking confirmation. A request becomes a confirmed appointment only when the shop reviews and approves it. Until the shop approves, no appointment exists, no time is reserved, and no work is scheduled. The shop may approve, adjust, or decline a request.

Not emergency dispatch

HailPort does not dispatch help and cannot send anyone to you. It is not emergency services. If anyone is in danger, call 911 (or your local emergency number) or the Coast Guard immediately.

No guarantee of availability

Suggested times are based on the shop’s stated hours and existing commitments. Availability can change; the shop confirms the exact time or declines the request. Nothing here guarantees a specific time, price, or outcome of any repair. The shop, not HailPort, is responsible for its services, quotes, and work.

SMS messaging terms

Program: service texts from the marine business you contacted (or from HailPort itself), sent through HailPort, about your service request: intake questions, scheduling, and updates the shop approves. No marketing.

How you opt in: by texting the business first, or by checking the optional SMS consent box on a service request form. Consent is not a condition of any purchase or service.

Message frequency varies by request. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Reply HELP for help, or email chris@hailportmd.com. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT, REVOKE, OPT OUT, UNSUB, OFF, or X. After opting out you will receive one final message confirming the opt-out and no further texts from that number. Reply START to opt back in.

Emergency and safety limits

Messages that indicate danger to people or vessels are routed to the shop’s owner and operator for immediate human attention. The automated service will not attempt to diagnose, advise, or dispatch in those situations.

Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland. If we change them, we will post the new version here with a new effective date.
